For the 2008 Alaska season, we are taking the initiative of increasing the experience requirements for whom we allow to lead Denali climbs to an industry high. VINSON MASSIF

Mountain Trip has led groups of climbers to the summit of the Mount Vinson for the past three seasons and we are excited to head back down to "the Ice" in 200/09.   At 80 degrees south latitude and one of the seven summits; Vinson is the crown jewel of Antarctica and a nice compliment to our Alaska trips.  This is one of the most exciting and beautiful places to visit on the earth. EVEREST SOUTH SIDE SUMMIT CLIMB

In response to many requests from climbers who have joined us on past expeditions, Mountain Trip has launched Mountain Trip Himalaya. We will lead a small, well supported team up Mount Everest in 2008. We are offering the highest level of support to help motivated and qualified climbers attempt the world's highest peak. DENALI EXPEDITIONS

Mount McKinley has been a beacon for mountaineers for much of the last century.  Mountain Trip was born in Alaska and Denali is still our focal point. We offer numerous departure dates for the classic West Buttress including one trip that will descend the North side to make a Traverse of the mountain. Climbers seeking challenging technical routes can test their mettle on the West Rib, the Northwest Buttress, or the Cassin Ridge. Beginning in 2008, we are also offering climbs from the North Side of Denali, including our Sourdough Expedition climb with a dog sled approach!

ALASKA RANGE CLIMBS

The Alaska Range provides a lifetime of objectives for the adventurous climber.  Denali’s “Little Sister,” the massive, 17,300 foot Mount Foraker is oft-overlooked, yet has a fantastic route up Sultana Ridge for fit, experienced mountaineers.  Mount Hunter’s sublime West Ridge is more technical still, with steep snow and ice along a wildly corniced ridgeline.  Legendary peaks like The Mooses Tooth and the exquisite Mount Huntington provide opportunities for ice climbers as well as less technical climbers. ACONCAGUA EXPEDITIONS

Join us for an Aconcagua experience to treasure. Climbing the 22,834 foot, highest mountain in South America is a challenging adventure in its own right and a great way to prepare for peaks like Denali. We guide the remote and pristine Upper Vacas Route, which we feel is the best non-technical route on the mountain. We think so highly of this route that we have committed to guiding only it and the Polish Glacier Route.
