Register for a Mountain Trip
2010-2011 Mountain Trip Registration

In an effort to clarify the services provided on various expeditions, we ask that if you would like to reserve a place on a Mountain Trip expedition you must read, complete and submit an application packet for your trip of choice along with a deposit appropriate to the trip you are requesting to join.

Click on the trip you are interested in below to download the appropriate Expedition Application Packet.

For most trips, the balance of the trip cost is due 120 days prior to the start of the expedition. Denali climbers are especially recommended to sign up early, as many West Buttress expeditions fill up by mid-autumn of the previous year.

Travel Guard Trip Cancellation and Travel Insurance

We have looked long and hard for an insurance policy that would adequately protect the investments required to join expeditions to the bigger mountains of the world. We are happy to be able to offer the Travel Guard Adventure Protection Plan to our US and Canadian climbers. Click the link above or the image below to sign up for this policy.

We have had several climbers unfortunately need to use this policy over the past couple of years and they reported that it was easy to work with Travel Guard. There are additional benefits if you purchase your policy within 15 days of signing up for an expedition, so please give it careful consideration and sign up in a timely fashion.

Important Info
We make every effort to provide you a fun trip. Our staff will give instructions before each trip and it is important that you listen and follow their instructions. You will assume the responsibility for many decisions affecting your safety during the trip. These activities can be physically demanding with inherent elements of risk and danger beyond our control. We do not assume liability for personal injury or death. You must sign a Release form and go at your own risk. We offer trips requiring various degrees of fitness. We are not qualified to evaluate your fitness so you must evaluate your fitness as appropriate for any given trip. If you are overweight or in poor physical condition, you should consult with your physician before the trip.

terra passOffset your carbon footprint
When you book your flights for one of our expeditions, we encourage you to purchase a TerraPass, which is a way to offset the Carbon Dioxide contribution of your flight. Mountain Trip purchases TerraPasses for all of our international flights as well as our guides' flights to Alaska, all of our glacier flights in Alaska and our fuel consumption while on expeditions. Click on the TerraPass logo above to see how you can help become part of the solution.
